More Chris Rock on America

Its funny how much truth Chris Rock speaks in his comedy. Personally is my favorite comedian the way he is able to relate current events with comedy. In my opinion there is no one better...
" A white man gets wealthy he builds Wal-marts, and makes other white people have some motherfucking money, a brother gets rich he buys some motherfucking jewerly"

The Watergate Scandal was the ideal story to show the power and importance of                   journalism to uncover the truth. The story was covered by two young newly assigned Post reporters. bob Woodward 29, & Carl Bernstein 28. The two tag team reporters would later be named "Woodstein" and would become two journalist legends.
After a four month investigation behind the scandal Woodstein covered solid evidence showing that the White House had dubbed "third rate burglary." The two reports had all of their information and facts towards their belief in the White House burglary by an anonymous source at the time named Deep Throat. Deep Throat turned out to be the 2nd ranked FBI agent at the time of the story recently uncovered in 2005. it was said that Deep Throat had "extremely sensitive attenaes" that could hear any sort of conspiracy at political center.  The Post giving very strong accusations about the White House burglary found itself alone in its in depth, truth searching reporting of the story. Other newspapers felt the Post was maybe overplaying the story, and thought that maybe it just wasn"t that big of a deal. Instead other papers just wrote stories based on the official statements from the governments public relation, un aware of the deception behind the scenes. On July 1974 with hlp from the Judicial, Legislative, & Judicial system House of Representatives voted three articles of impeachment. Charged Nixon for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, and contempt of Congress for defying committe subpoenas.  President Nixon would eventually resign when news came out of tape proving his guilt was erased manually. Nixon was the first and only president to ever resign.

Yellow Journalism

Yellow journalism is an insult to WE THE PEOPLE!! Yellow Journalism has everything to do with promoting sales & profit no matter the situation. Also has to do with blinding us, and keeping us from the truth, and what it is we are entitled to know. But instead we're given what THEY the power corporations want us to hear, know, and believe. The term yellow journalism was established between at the time two newspapers publishing titans in The World, and The Post. A carton dipiction of high class people partaking in upper class activities like golf matches, and dog shows. Main character wore a bright yellow shirt and he was a rough looking, snuggle toothed boy who they called "Yellowkid." As said by the book Mightier than the sword " He was impident, mindless, with a maniac glean in his eye, he came to define the sensationalists journalism that defined the era- the concept of Yellow Journalism. The power of yellow Journalism was the catalist in the Spanish American War. The two papers sent
men to Cuba duringthe outbreak during the Inudstrial Revolutions for hard hitting, up close stories when in fact there was little to report. False stories were produced by both papers. Exciting hard hitting, attractive, "sexy" stories that both papers used to grow their stocks.

"The newspaper is the greatest force in civilization
Under republican government, newspapers from express public opinion
                                               They suggest and control legislation
                                               They declare wars...
                                               The newspapers control the nation
Written by Hearst in his reflection of news media in the Journal

The stories reported with misleading drawings and false headlines which promted the U.S. into war when Maine exploded on Feb 15, 1898 killing 260 sailors. Press put President McKinley in a tough spot, with the press blaming Spain for the attack and demanding that the U.S. strike back. With these fasle stories and accusations of Spain the American people became blood thirsty for war being mislead by yellow journalism. With the entire country ready for war, and McKinley's support dorpping the U.S. engaged in war...

With The Government "Its All About The Benjamins"

Occupy The Hood, Occupy The Club

Occupy the Hood, Or Occupy the club. Sometimes the solution to our problems are withing ourselves. Occupying the Hood or Club has to do with poverty and how as the "minority" as African Americans we use all of our money on the newest clothes, jewelry, accessories etc... when in fact we could use that money to help ourselves in the community. Cancel bottle services in the club and use that $200 your using on a bottle of Moet and fronting for the camera, use that money and put it in a savings and stop the rich from getting richer.
